FAQ

What is currently at the site?

The site is currently occupied by a surface parking lot with 21 parking spaces and 2 car share parking spaces.

What is the future vision for this site?

Our vision is to redevelop the site with a 9-storey mixed-use building to support the growing neighbourhood and capitalize on the anticipated rapid transit that will be complete in the next few years.

Will there be amenities in the new building?

There will be new indoor and outdoor amenities located on the 9th storey of the building. It will provide important recreational space for residents and their pets, and include an outdoor play area for children.

What is the plan for parking?

Given the location and proximity to the future Eglinton Crosstown rapid transit, the applicant is proposing fewer car parking spaces in favour of 107 bicycle parking spaces for both short and long-term use.

What other improvements will you be making?

Our proposal will implement landscape improvements along Little Boulevard, including new trees and planter beds to help make the sidewalk more enjoyable for building residents and neighbours.

What is the timing for this project?

The initial Site Plan Approval application for this proposal was submitted in October 2020, with the Rezoning application filed in March 2021, to the City of Toronto for their review. City Staff will provide comments on the application, as well as lead the community consultation process.

Eglinton Avenue is experiencing a lot of change, which can be challenging at times. How will this proposal be considerate of that?

We will work collaboratively with the City of Toronto to help support the future vision for this neighbourhood.
