Michael began his career in the late 1980s, working for over five years with one of Ontario’s premier private shopping centre developers. In roles spanning leasing and operations, he gained early expertise in building and managing retail-driven assets.
At the inception of RioCan, now one of Canada’s largest real estate investment trusts, Michael served as Director of Leasing and Development, where he established long-term relationships with national retailers across the country. During his tenure, he played a key role in expanding RioCan’s shopping centre portfolio and helped grow its market cap from $150 million to over $1 billion in assets in just over five years.
Michael later joined Bentall Kennedy (formerly Bentall Capital), one of North America’s largest real estate service providers, as Managing Partner and Senior Vice President of Development and Leasing for its commercial shopping centre division. Over 11 years, he developed and managed more than seven million square feet of commercial property, while also spearheading and supporting opportunities that led to the creation of the firm’s Value-Added Fund.
In 2011, Michael elected to take his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for real estate into his own venture, founding Oldstonehenge, where he continues to lead innovative development projects across Toronto.

Gabrielle holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Real Estate and Housing from the University of Guelph and is a licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
She joined Oldstonehenge in 2018 and works closely with Michael to deliver both quantitative insight and creative collaboration across all aspects of the business.
Prior to Oldstonehenge, Gabrielle was a member of the Capital Markets Team at one of Canada’s largest commercial real estate brokerages, where she gained valuable experience in investment sales and advisory.
