Founder’s Vision

“In order to truly thrive, I believe people need to live and work in wholesome communities where they can experience a deep and genuine sense of belonging. My goal is to transform neighbourhoods into places where people can live, work, play, and stay connected to what matters most to them.”

Passionate about urban design and the art of placemaking, Michael has long been fascinated by what makes certain communities flourish while others fade. He began to ask deeper questions: What are the essential ingredients that create neighbourhoods of enduring quality, authentic character, and vitality those rare “nerve centres” that foster connection and belonging?

Having witnessed first-hand the transformative impact of thoughtful planning and contemporary architecture, their power to breathe new life into underperforming communities. Michael refocused his broad, national perspective toward a more intimate, local scale. Today, his work through Oldstonehenge reflects a belief that mindful development can restore the social fabric of cities, creating environments that are not only livable, but deeply human.
